MRS. ROBERTSON

My name is Mrs. Robertson and this will be my ninth year teaching at Wakefield Elementary! I have taught kindergarten the majority of those years, but spent one year in 3rd grade. I grew up in Raleigh and actually attended both Wakefield Middle and Wakefield High School, so I love being back with my Wakefield family! I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Behavioral Studies, along with my K-6 teaching license. My husband's name is Kirk and we have the most adorable cavapoo named Dude! In my free time, you can find me getting dinner with friends, riding my Peloton, shopping at TJMaxx, sipping on an iced coffee no matter the time of year, and trying out the weekly Crumbl Cookie flavors! I can't wait for the year ahead with you and your children, the Class of 2036 Kindergarteners!

MRS. BOCHENEK

Mrs. Bochenek is my Instructional Assistant. She has been in the school system for 20 years. She graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and worked in accounting for 15 years. She is married to her husband, Michael, and has four children- Samantha, Michael Jr., Frank, and Marissa. Her children are all adults now, in fact she is now a grandma to Eleanor and Theodore. She enjoys traveling to visit her kids and crafting in her free time. This will be our eighth year working together, but we've actually known each other for longer. I was good friends with her sons in middle school, so it was meant to be when we got put together! We are a great pair!
