Hello! Thank you for visiting our class website. I am so happy to be your child's first grade teacher. I have lived all across the state of North Carolina! I am originally from a tiny town near the mountains of North Carolina called Hudson. My family moved to Greenville, NC and then I later moved to Wilmington, NC where I went to college and taught first grade for four years. My husband and I moved to Raleigh in 2017 and I taught first grade in Morrisville for two years and then started at Harris Creek last school year. We had our son, Oliver in 2018 and we have a Shih-Poo dog named Sookie. I enjoy reading, crafting, going for walks, and of course spending lots of time with my family!
