Erin Law, 1st Grade Teacher
I have been teaching at the wonderful Leesville Road Elementary since 2010 and I am very excited to be back for another year! I grew up in Cary, North Carolina and graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I got married in July 2020 and we were able to have our big wedding reception in July 2021! First Grade is my favorite grade to teach because of all the growth that is made. My job this year is to help all students to reach their potential and meet all of their goals by the end of the year. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or concerns. Gail Penwell, Instructional Assistant
I have been an Instructional Assistant since 2000. I have worked at Leesville Elementary since 2004. My husband and I were married in 1990. We moved to NC from New Jersey in 1994, but I will always be a Jersey Girl at heart. I have one daughter who teaches science at Lee Early College. I love spending time with my family, going for long walks with my black lab Nickie, reading, and going to the beach. I love working at Leesville and first grade is my absolute favorite grade. We are big Philadelphia Eagles fans (our dog Nickie is named for Super Bowl winning quarterback Nick Foles). Fly Eagles Fly!
