Email is still the best way to contact individual teachers with questions, comments, or concerns. You should receive a response from me within 24 hours, if not, please email me again. Talking Points is also another way to contact me.
SMART Block is after first period and is 30 min. each day for small group instruction or for individual students to ask questions or get extra help with a concept in any class. Students can choose a core class to attend, electives, PE, or the auditorium is for silent reading, cafe is for independent work. Students should be making wise decisions on where they need to go that is most beneficial to them.
We are a team, if there is a problem I am here to help, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Students will go to all 5 classes each day, 4 core classes on the 6th grade hallway AND their elective or PE class.
We are looking for a team parent that can help with things throughout the year, this can be one parent or two that work together. Email me if interested.

About Me!
Hi, my name is Robyn Grantham. I am so excited to have you in our science class this year! This is my 29th year teaching. I taught elementary school for 13 years, this is my 16th year in middle school, and my 12th year at DDMS. Please let us know if we taught your siblings we love to hear all about how our former students are doing.
My husband Todd and I have 4 children ages 26, 25, & two 22 year olds. All have graduated from college & are now living on their own so we have an empty nest! We have two dogs Lito and Haze. One of my favorite things is taking them on walks each day! I am certain I will show you many pics of our precious pups throughout the school year because they are my joy! Please show me your pets any time, I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs!
I also love sports, travel, and being outdoors!
Fun Facts: My husband I have season tickets to the Carolina Panthers, we were fortunate enough to get to go to CA for the Super Bowl in 2016, unfortunately the Panthers lost to the Broncos, but it was a great time! I love science, especially doing fun hands on labs where students can manipulate materials and learn by doing. I hope to foster a love of science and lifelong learning in each and every one of you!
