I became a teacher because learning is AWESOME! While eating a salad in the cafeteria in college I started thinking about photosynthesis and how the plant cells of the lettuce would become part my cells… how the chloroplasts made sugars that my mitochondria would turn into energy… and that’s just one piece of lettuce. There is SO MUCH in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD… And I get to share cool stuff like that with students all the time! :D
