My name is Catherine Crook, and I was born and raised in Sanford, NC by two educators. I am married to my college sweetheart, and we reside in Durham with our two cats.

I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2008, and began my teaching career as an 8th Grade ELA teacher at McGee's Crossroads Middle School. This is my thirteenth year of teaching English Language Arts with the last three years being at West Cary. In December 2019 I received my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence English Language Arts.
