I was born in Burlington NC and moved to Raleigh before entering 6^th grade. I attended Carnage Middle School and graduated high school from Enloe. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education from NCSU. I have been teaching at Wakefield High School for 16 years. I have 6 children: Karleigh (29), Kayla (23), Nathan (19), Natalie (19), Evan (18) and Zachary (16). I also have 2 rescue dogs named Bear and Bella. When I am not working, you will find me at home spending time with my kids, my dogs and my husband.
