About Me

Hey there and Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences! 

Little about me…  

I grew up in Rocky Mount, NC and graduated from Rocky Mount Sr. High School.  I then went to Meredith College where I achieved my BS in Family and Consumer Sciences.  I have been teaching in Wake County since 2005.  I started at Ligon Middle School and moved to Salem MS in 2014.  

I got married in 2016 and moved back close to my hometown so I have quit a commute to work but it’s worth every mile!

My husband and I welcomed our little girl, Hannah, into the world on in 2020.   

I am looking forward to getting to know each of you better!
