Math

Here is what we are working on during quarter 1:

Unit 1- Building a mathematical community while working with numbers within 20!  

Unit 2- Adding and subtracting within 100!

Here is what we are working on during quarter 2:

unit 3 will cover arrays and telling time!

Unit 4 will cover number expansion and place value, skip counting by 100's, decomposing numbers, and comparing numbers (in their place values)!

here is what we are working on during Quarter 3: 

Unit 5 will focus on adding and subtracting within 1,000!  

unit 6 will focus on linear measurement (inches, yards, centimeters)!

here is what we are working on during quarter 4: 

we will finish the school year with units 7, 8, and 9 in math.  at the end of the year, we will also have a NKT test for select students and a summative state test for all students.

unit 7 will focus on data and two step problem solving!

unit 8 will focus on problem solving with money!

unit 9 will focus on reasoning with shapes!
