About Me

Hi! My name is Karla Mullen and I have been at Salem Middle School since we opened in 2004. I have been teaching in Wake County for 24 years and I love teaching math!

I have twin boys, Parker and Cameron. They are first graders at Salem Elementary. You may see them sometimes when we are on our meets.

We adopted our Chiweenie, Mary Lou, in May 2020 and fell in love instantly. She will be a year old in September. She is cute and loves to snuggle.

Our family loves sports, especially the Wolfpack! We go to the home football games to cheer them on! We are also Red Sox fans.

Our family also visits Folly Beach, SC each year. It is our absolute favorite place on Earth :)
