Meet Your Teacher

About Me!

Hi! My Name is Mrs. Jen Frangakis! I live in Morrisville with my husband Stephan, our twins, Christopher and Charlotte (5), our youngest daughter, Cara (18 months), and our dog Chewie (14). I enjoy reading, crafting, and being with my family. I will be your child’s 5th grade ELA teacher for the 2020-2021 school year! This will be my 16th year teaching and my 11th year at Highcroft Drive Elementary. I am excited to make this my best year yet!

My Childhood

My dad was in the Army, so I grew up on different military bases around the world. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and I’ve lived in Texas, Georgia, Panama, and Kentucky. I graduated from Fort Knox High School in Kentucky.

My Education

In the spring of 2004, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. Go Cats! Since then, I’ve taught 1st- 5th grade. This will be my sixth year as a 5th grade teacher!
