Our Curriculum uses learning objectives from the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
We will be utilizing the North Carolina Healthful Living Standards and developing units that will promote lifetime skills and activities related to traditional and international sports found commonly played here in North Carolina.
Students will participate in a variety of activities including traditional games, cooperative games, and lifelong activities that will focus on improving the following skills:

We will be utilizing the North Carolina Healthful Living Standards and developing project based learning assessments related to the essential standards related to the content area and indicators. With Health Education, our core beliefs is to teach our students important skills related to social, emotional, and personal health.
Students will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to remain healthy for a lifetime. They will focus on all aspects of the Health Triangle in order to achieve overall wellness.

We will be utilizing NC Healthful Living Standards H.F.3 (Healthful Related Fitness) and NPA.3 (Healthful Related Concepts) and develop units that will teach our students the importance and value of how one's health can be regulated and improved related to the 5 components of fitness, the Health Triangle, and different forms/techniques they can use to improve upon throughout their lives.
