Mills Park Middle School Chapter
Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.
FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
FBLA is sponsored and supported by CTE, Career and Technical Education. For that reason, membership in FBLA is limited to 7th and 8th grade students who have taken a CTE course, or are enrolled in a CTE course this academic year. Consideration will also be given to 7th and 8th grade students who are enrolled in a CTE club as part of Mills Park's Club Day (Minecraft is a CTE club).
Because of the travel to Leadership Conferences, both in and out of state, total membership is limited.
Please note that membership in FBLA is a time commitment. Students are expected to attend all FBLA Club meetings and events, and to spend time outside of school, studying and preparing for competitive events.
In addition to the time commitment, there are required membership dues for FBLA. Students are expected to wear business attire and behave in a professional manner when attending competitive events and leadership conferences, and students are responsible for paying registration fees, as well as travel, hotel, and food costs associated with competitive events and leadership conferences.
For more details about expectations for members, please refer to the "How to Join" tab above.
