I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and attended Wake County schools growing up. I graduated from NCSU with a degree in Sociology and continued my education at NCCU where I earned my degree in Elementary Education.
Before teaching, I coached gymnastics and cheerleading for 10 years. I now live in the area with my husband, our baby boy, and our two dogs.
I love all things N.C. State! Fun fact: I attended my first NCSU football game at 6 weeks old. I still love going to football and basketball games. I am a Steelers, Yankees, and Penguins fan by marriage.
