Dear students and families, 

Welcome to 7th Grade! 

Here are a few things about me: 

• This is my 15th year teaching and my 8th year teaching 7th grade at Mills Park. 

• I have taught 5th grade (all subjects) as well as 6th and 7th grade ELA/SS. 

• I am originally from Michigan where I attended Michigan State University and received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2009 and my Master's Degree in Special Education in 2015. 

• When I'm not teaching you can find me spending time with my adorable dog, Luke (named after the country singer Luke Bryan!) I also love to read (NC native Sarah Dessen is my favorite author) as well as travel and explore Raleigh.
