I am originally from New Bern, NC, but have been in the Raleigh area for the past 10 years.  I previously taught at West Craven High School, JH Rose High and Millbrook High.  While I was at Millbrook High, I met my husband who now teaches in the healthful living department at Rolesville High and we have been married for 7 years now.  We have a little girl named Darcy and a little boy named Jett.  I attended East Carolina University as a Teaching Fellow and received my bachelor's degree in mathematics and mathematics education. While teaching at MHS, I went to NC State and earned my master's degree in mathematics education. In 2019, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. I enjoy being outside during the warm months, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
