I started teaching in 2001. I started teaching at AFHS in 2017.
I love math, and I love teaching.
Outside of class, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering for UNC basketball, and gardening.

I am a graduate of NC State University. I graduated with degrees in Mathematics (BS) and Secondary Math Education (BS).
I have been at Apex Friendship for 3 years. Teaching Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, and Pre-Calculus. I love being a patriot!
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

About Mrs. Whisenant
I graduated from NC State University with degrees in Mathematics and Secondary Math Education.
I taught in Greensboro, NC for six years before we moved to Collierville, TN where I taught for two years. I am excited to be back in North Carolina teaching at Apex Friendship!
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my 2 year old son, my husband and our two dogs.

I am an NC State University graduate and wolfpacker for life. I graduated with a B.S. in Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching.
I have been teaching at Friendship for two years: Foundations of Math I, Math III, and Honors Math III. I also coach cross country, basketball, and softball.
Outside of school I enjoy serving at The Point Church, spending time with my husband, Captain Jared Hollis, and doing anything outside!
