Hello Moore Square Family! My name is Krystal Fish and I am so excited to be going into my 2nd year at Moore Square. This is my 13th year in education and 4th year in the school counseling field. I am originally from Kernersville, North Carolina where I taught middle school language arts and social studies for 9 years prior to earning my Masters in School Counseling at Salem College.
In my free time, you can catch me with a book in hand, at a local coffee shop, or walking around Downtown Raleigh with my two goldendoodle fur babies. I love traveling to new places, listening to true crime podcasts, and finding treasures at thrift stores!
As a school counselor, I help collaborate with educational stakeholders to ensure the academic and personal success of all students. Middle school years are a critical time period for academic development and personal growth. I absolutely love working with the chaos that comes with the middle school setting and love watching students transform in these 3 pivotal years! I am always available to talk or provide a listening ear. I can be reached at 919-664-5737 EXT. 26646 or email kfish2@wcpss.net. I look forward to a successful year!
