Painting

Course Description

This 8th-grade course presents the painting process as a problem-solving exercise designed to promote fluency, flexibility, and elaboration. Students apply their understanding of color theory, basic painting skills and concepts to projects that offer the opportunity to explore additional media. Students learn to think and write critically about master work as well as their own.
