The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo, reviewed by Xia
"This story is about a porcelain rabbit that gets lost and goes on a journey, learning to grow to love peopel and be loved by people. I liked this book because of the way the author turned a doll into a person with feelings and a conscience, was really sweet and I like how they made the doll grow to love people. It was really sentimental and I liked it."

"A young orphan, Liesel cannot read and her foster parent Han teaches her to read as Liesel grows to love books, their life takes a change when they secretly shelter a Jewish boy. [I liked] the fact that Death narrates some of the book.
