What's up, cool kids?!

I'm Mr. Russell and like you, this is my first year in an 8th grade classroom at Leesville Road Middle. I have been teaching for 10 years in total but this is my first year here. I love what I do and I think you'll be able to see that in class.

I have a lot of interests outside of school - playing sports, hiking, cooking, and spending time with my wife and daughter. I'm very excited to meet all of you and to get this school year started!
