Speech-Language Pathologist

I am Candace Stokes-Boone, speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Lynn Road Elementary School!  I have been part of the LRES Lion Pride since 2020.  I have a Bachelors of Arts in English Education from North Carolina State University and a Masters of Education in Communication Disorders from North Carolina Central University.  

Speech and language problems can make it hard for your child to learn in school, but SLPs may help your child succeed.  SLPs work with students exhibiting the full range of communication disorders, including those involving language, articulation (speech sound disorders), fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing.   If you have any questions or concerns, please share with your child's teacher, or feel free to email me at cstokesboone@wcpss.net.
