Digital Learning Coordinator
Through my role as an Area Digital Learning Coordinator, I worked with 22 schools in the Southwestern area of Wake County Public School System from July 2018-March 2022. This role allowed me to:
Support teachers across the district in the use of learning management systems for instructional delivery and resources.
Collaborate with Academics teams across the district to design, enhance and publish lessons to our teachers.
I design, implement, and support learning opportunities for teachers intended to build capacity and expertise in the use of instructional technology in order to support all students.
I model integrated the use of technology in the instructional process when conducting demonstration lessons and assisting with curriculum design and pacing and stay current with new and emerging technologies and their potential applications to the district.
Develop self-directed teacher leaders through coaching and mentorship.
Support Instructional Design Model development through embedding digital teaching and learning strategies and Canvas Blueprint courses.
Actively seek opportunities to share culturally responsive teaching strategies.
Build trust amongst collaborative project teams with colleagues and educators across the district.
Coach for equity by challenging inequitable practices and engaging in crucial conversations.
Collaborate with school leadership teams to design and implement differentiated professional development based upon staff needs.
Support teachers across the district in the use of learning management systems for instructional delivery and resources.
Coach and mentors educators at the elementary, middle and high school levels on the innovative use of digital tools to enhance student learning.
