Mr. ReBant
My wife Danielle and I moved down to Raleigh from Newington, Connecticut in the summer of 2004. I began my teaching career in Bloomfield, Connecticut in 2003 teaching the first grade. However, since 2004 I have been teaching in North Carolina; first in Granville County and then here at LES since 2011. I received my bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University (the original Blue Devils) and my Master's of Education in Reading from ECU. Outside of school, I enjoy being active and participating in a variety of sports, especially baseball. My wife and I are also part of a local animal rescue group and have enjoyed fostering dogs and cats.

Mr. Simpson
I grew up in the small town of Hamburg Pennsylvania. I attended Susquehanna University and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor degree in elementary education. After graduation, I moved to North Carolina and began teaching. I taught second grade for three years then transitioned to fourth grade and then on to fifth grade. My wife Mrs. Simpson is also a teacher and we have two children, Kylie and Max. On the weekends I enjoy spending my time racing motocross.

Mr. Gainey
Hi there! I'm Cameron Gainey. I teach Science and Social Studies on the team with Mrs. Kennedy and Mr. ReBant, and I'm the organizer of Dungeons & Dragons Club. 2019-2020 is my first school year at Leesville Elementary. Before that I spent 3 years teaching science with Science Fun For Everyone, which means I have experience teaching PreK-5. I have a degree in Biology from Davidson College.
My wife and I live in Raleigh with our 4 pets: Priscilla the cockatiel, Callie the bearded dragon, and Buttercup and Penny, both guinea pigs. I love listening to and playing music; I play guitar, bass, and drums, and I dabble in a few others. I also love tabletop games, especially Dungeons & Dragons, and exploring in nature.
