I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, even the lowly Pirates. I attended Penn State University for my undergrad (WE ARE!) and NC State for my masters in education.

I moved to North Carolina just over 10 years ago. I have taught in a private school, WCPSS and have been a charter school most recently. This is my 10th year in education in N.C.

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with family and friends. My wife Lindsay and I have two dogs and a 2.5 year old daughter named Camille. She is a goofy kid with a strong personality that is the center of our world. We also have a boy on the way, due May 2020!
