About Me

My job titles are Magnet Coordinator and AIG Teacher. My temporary persona is Journalism curator.

It isn't a secret that I am a voracious reader, a downright logophile, a nature lover, and animal menagerie-inspired enthusiast. It may be more surprising to learn that I am just as intrigued by the sciences, history, and mathematics as I am the arts.

One of my favorite sayings is that there is a fine line between "knowledge is power" and "ignorance is bliss" but I may be just as likely to tell students that "to have a friend you need to be one" or "in order not to fall for anything, you need to stand for something." Also, "everything is connected!"
