My name is Jennifer McIntyre and this is my eighth year at Swift Creek.Â
I live in Garner with my family. My oldest graduated from Appalachian State University and is working in Durham. Our second child is a recent APP graduate also, and will be back home this year applying to graduate school. Our youngest daughter is a junior at South Garner. Our family includes an active German Short-
haired Pointer named Piper, and two guinea pigs--Edmond and Cookie.
I love to travel. This summer my daughter and I drove over 2100 miles to Maine and back. We visited the Amish countryside, Yale, Mystic, Deer Island and Acadia National Park.

IMG_5234.MOVMy "happy place" is at the Georgia Coast with my family with the sand between my toes. I love making a mess, and I am a pack rat. I enjoy finding new purpose in discarded things, and I collect NC pottery and seashells.
