About Mrs. Hall

I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year and to be teaching my favorite subject! I LOVE to read and write!!

This is my 3rd year at Brassfield, but my 9th year teaching. I have previously taught 2nd and 4th grade and I was a Title I teacher and a tutor for 5th graders. I remember 5th grade being one of my favorite years in elementary school as I changed classes for the first time, had amazing teachers, got to participate in my own independent study project, and got to do some work with younger students. I hope we will be able to make many great memories for you this year and help you GROW both personally and academically.

I am originally from a small town in Alabama. I grew up with my mom, dad, and younger brother "out in the country." I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Troy University and got married 2 months later. Then after another month, my husband, Lee, and I moved to North Carolina. Once we got past the homesickness, we fell in love with the Raleigh area and knew we wanted to make our home here. Our oldest daughter, Kiley, was born in 2014 and our baby, Skyler, was born earlier this year.

I love reading, traveling, the mountains, history, M&M's, college football, fall, bonfires, Christmas, shopping online, baking, pictures, chips and queso, and music just to name a few things. I look forward to us getting to know one another better this year!
