Recommended Daily To Do Items (Monday-Friday):

Check your WCPSS email at least 2 times a day
1. When responding to an email remember do not treat it like a text
Check all of your Google Classrooms at least 2 times a day
Read through the assignment lists for each class thoroughly
1. Slow down
2. Re-read the assignment list
3. Follow the assignment list in the order we gave to you
Do the assignments & attend office hours if you have questions

7.4 Red Team Competition

Congratulations to last week's winner for the Patriotic Pet contest, Alison Fields! Check out her Patriotic dog, Cash.

This week's competition is for you to submit a photo showing everyone what your time during the quarantine looks like. It can be a collage of pictures or just a single picture, but you must be in the picture.

Potential Ideas:

Collage of what you do during the day
Pictures of you hanging out with your family
Picture of you learning something new

Post your picture here by Wednesday at 6pm. Voting starts from Wednesday 6pm to Thursday 6pm and the winner will be announced at our Friday meeting. (You never know when a Chick-fil-A gift card will be the reward).

Grading

For Quarter 3:

Students will receive a P (pass) or I (incomplete). If you receive an I, your teacher will contact you to complete activities to receive a P.

For Quarter 4:

We get new information weekly, but currently, we will be continuing with a P/I grading format. You will be expected to complete assignments provided by your teachers. We will give you feedback and keep records of your performance. The district will continue to give us updates regarding grading as we see whether or not we will return to school after May 15.

The important thing to remember: this is an opportunity for us to focus on learning - making sure you have the information and skills you need to be successful in school and in life. We will not be focusing on grades, but rather, understanding. This is a great time for you to take advantage of this opportunity!
