Fall Semester:

Quarter 1- Exploring Childcare (American Red Cross® Babysitter’s Training)

This module is designed to teach basic skills for babysitting. Emphasis is on child care, child development and the business of babysitting. The American Red Cross® Babysitter’s certification is available.

Quarter 2- Exploring Nutrition and Wellness

This module is designed to teach basic kitchen techniques, skills, and resources needed to design and make healthy food choices. Emphasis is on essential nutrients, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) dietary guidelines, basic kitchen tools, meal planning and preparation.
