4th grade Friday Enhancement Lesson 10/16
Watch the video and think about how can you be an upstander next time you see someone being bullied or treated badly?
Bystander- someone who just watches and does nothing when they see someone being mean to someone else.
Upstander- someone who stands up for someone else.

Listen as I read the book, Say Something. This book is about speaking up for others, for justice, and for kindness. If we see someone not being treated kindly, we should speak up for them.
After you listen to the book:
Trace your hand on a piece of paper. Inside each finger, write something you can say next time you see someone being treated unfairly or unkindly.

Listen as I read The Invisible String. This book is about how we are connected to people we care about. After you listen to me read the book, make a list of the people and pets in your life that you care about and that you are connected to with an invisible heart string.
