The Felton Grove High School Choral Program is committed to helping students achieve musical excellence through the art of singing, while cultivating a strong sense of community and belonging that empowers each individual to grow and thrive within our program.
About the Director
About the Director
Kaitlyn Moore is thrilled to be the Choral Director at Felton Grove High School! She graduated cum laude from the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University. Mrs. Moore grew up in Pittsboro, North Carolina and started singing as early as she can remember.
Prior to joining FGHS, Mrs. Moore was the Choral Director at Durant Road Middle School in Raleigh, NC. She is honored to launch the choir program at Felton Grove and is deeply committed to building a strong, inclusive community through singing. Now in her sixth year as an educator, Mrs. Moore is excited for many wonderful years ahead at FGHS!
In her free time, Mrs. Moore enjoys visiting local coffee shops and spending quality time with her husband, Matt, their son, Theo, and their three dogs- Lulu, Mochi, and Thelma. She also teaches private voice lessons. Go Galaxy!
