NC WiseOwl has many resources provided by the NC Department of Public Instruction for students of North Carolina. Many of these resources are password protected and are updated regularly. Please contact Mrs. Galvan (agalvan@wcpss.net) for passwords. Students should not need passwords at school. This resource is also linked in the Wake ID Portal.
Pebble Go is an excellent tool for nonfiction information. Stough Students can search for information about Animals, Science or Biographies.
Discovery Education is a collection of rich multimedia assets and building tools for student centered learning. This resource allows students to access videos, reading passages, sound effects, and interactive learning resources.

BrainPop (4th & 5th grades) and BrainPop Jr (K-3rd grades) offer animated videos, learning games and activities to encourage students on their learning paths. Students can explore a wide range of topics of interest.
