Wikipedia is not an academic source, but the list of sources on a subject may have some credible sources. For example...
Blogs are not academic sources UNLESS the person is a bona fide expert. For example, does the person have credentials that support their expertise, i.e. an advanced degree, certification, years of experience, etc.
Youtube or Tik Tok videos are usually not academic sources.
Notes about web sites: To cite a web site: Purdue OWL; even though you put the URL in the search box, you may still need to ensure all of the info is included. This means revisiting the site and looking for the info.
Helpful Hints for Citations:
Open a Google Doc and keep up with your sources by copying the citation for each database source as you complete your research. I would also include a way to return to the source, i.e. save to Google Drive or copy and paste the permalink to the Google Doc.
