Elective courses are not required, subject areas like reading and math, but are optional courses that may be of interest to your child. Each middle school offers unique elective courses that your child can choose to take. Your child will select at least 2 but no more than 4 arts electives and 2 arts alternates from this list. Your child will also select 1 CTE class and 1 CTE alternate from this list. Please use the form below as a tool when having conversations with your child regarding their course selection for next year. It is important to note that the availability of elective courses is dependent upon each school’s master schedule, and choosing an elective does not guarantee its availability in your child’s individual schedule​.
