Meet Mrs.Skaggs

  Welcome! I have been teaching in Wake County for many years.  I grew up in Wake County and graduated from Garner Senior High way back in the last century! 

I have three grown kids who all graduated from Apex High: 

• Luke is an audio engineer who lives and works in
  Nashville. He graduated from Appalachian State University. He is married to Molly who teaches chorus at a middle school in downtown Nashville. 

• Susanna is an actor who lives in New York City! Follow her on insta and go watch her movie on Netflix! 

• David just graduated from Oberlin Conservatory in Electronic Music and is a part time sub for Wake County! Maybe you will get to see him this year. He is applying to graduate programs all over the world. Who knows where he will end up. 

When I am not visiting my kids, I like to run, cook, and hang out at home with my husband Steve and our golden doodle Lottie. 

I love reading and writing! I am currently studying screenwriting through a program at NYU. 

I love comic book movies and I like to watch spy dramas on television.
