My name is Maddie York and I have been a counselor at East Cary since 2023. I am a proud graduate and alumni of Wake County Public Schools and North Carolina State University. I received both my Masters and my Bachelors degrees from NC State.  I love being a counselor and seeing my students grow socially, emotionally, and academically throughout their middle school career. I am from and still live in Raleigh with my husband Nash and our two dogs, Oscar and Pepito. I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and travelling, especially to national parks.
