Chemistry club

Chemistry Club is focused on having fun and learning with hands-on activities. Membership is limited to 24 students due to the hands on nature of the activities. Parents are requested to volunteer for one meeting per year. As there were over 30 students that have expressed interest in joining, students must fill out this application in order to be considered for club membership. Applications close on Wednesday 9/18.

• Meeting Dates: Generally on the 2nd Wednesday of Each Month-except October and April-note date changes for those months.
• Interest Meeting-September 11-All are welcome to attend-surface area lab (Bring Mentos and Diet Coke!)-membership discussion and qualification requirements.
• Regular meetings will follow for members on:

  • 11/13-Exploring molecular bonds
  • 12/11-Endothermic reactions
  • 1/8-Exothermic reactions
  • 2/12-Color changing reactions
  • 3/11-Polymers
  • 4/15-Color changing reactions
  • 5/13-Freezing point depression
