We will use real French, designed for and by native speakers, to learn the language. We will watch YouTube videos, listen to pop music, read blogs...
Read, Write, Listen, and Speak
We will do all four types of communication. At some point you will be inside your comfort zone, and at some point you'll be challenged outside of it!
French around the world
French is spoken by over 275 million people in 33 countries! We will learn about French in Africa, the Caribbean, North America, and Europe.
Listening Skills
Listening is key to developing good speech patterns. We will listen A LOT! Quite a bit of our listening will come from This Is Language as well as YouTube videos and music by French speaking artists.
Culture
We will learn about culture including food, shopping, music, art, history, fashion, sports.... You will use all 5 senses in this class!
