I am originally from a small town east of Raleigh called Spring Hope. My parents live out on my family’s farm next door to my grandparents. I have one older brother who lives in Raleigh.

I graduated from East Carolina University with my degree in Apparel Merchandising along with a minor in Business. After graduation, I moved to Atlanta for an internship in an apparel showroom located in AmericasMart. After a year, I decided to move back to North Carolina.

I am a lateral entry teacher with Wake County Public School System. I have been working with Wake County Public Schools since 2015. This is will be my fifth year at Douglas Elementary.

I love to travel, especially abroad! I enjoy experiencing new cultures.

I am a huge ECU and Carolina Panthers fan! I also enjoy reading, doing yoga and binge watching Bravo and mystery shows.

My favorite places to shop: Target, Anthropologie, Amazon, Madewell, ULTA and Barnes and Noble.

My favorite places to dine: Jersey Mike's, Chick-fil-A, Village Deli, Bojangles, and Bartaco.

My favorite treats: Starbursts, Peanut M&Ms, Reese's Pieces, Diet Coke, and Dr. Pepper.
