JOIN

Become part of TSA, a national student organization of 300,000+ members that offers a broad program of activities – including exciting opportunities for networking, competition, and leadership development.  All students are welcome to join the TSA club and be part of our after-school meetings.  These will include student activities, service projects, and guest speakers.  Simply complete the application to become a member of the DDMS - TSA Chapter.   

MEETINGS

Meetings for club members will be held once a month on Monday afternoons, from 3:30 - 4:30.  Meeting dates will be posted on this site's calendar, as well as posted during the morning announcements.  

COMPETE

Although club membership is open to all students, only a limited number of students will have the opportunity to compete.  Applicants for the competition team are required to submit a project along with their application.

Tryouts were held in the spring last school year, and a core group of team members, as well as the government positions, have been determined.  However, we are still seeking new members to round out our 25-26 TSA team.

LEAD

Learn how to develop strong 21st century leadership skills through proven models, and then put them into practice at the local, state, and national TSA levels.  Our TSA Chapter is a student-led organization, which will allow students to have a leadership role within the organization.  

This year's government positions have been determined from last year's returning students.  However, new 6th grade students will have the opportunity to elect a 6th grade representative.

Wed, 10/1, SMART Block - Interest meeting for new club and competition team members.  Reach out to Mr. Akins if you are interested in being part of TSA, but are unable to make this meeting.

Fri, 10/10 - All applications due by 3:00 at the end of school.
