Students who would like to be a member of the TSA competition team should follow the guidelines below. Make sure to complete each section of this to the best of your ability. This is due by the end of school (3:00) on Friday, 10/10.
Application Project
Your task is to think of a problem that requires items to be sorted, and to create a solution to help with this chore. This can be anything (coins, recycled materials, etc), be creative.
Based on the problem, brainstorm ideas about possible solutions.
Once you have determined a possible solution, you will develop a plan to build your solution.
Next, build a prototype for your solution, which should be built from at least 75% recycled materials (the goal is 100%, but 75% is the minimum).
Document the process using the log linked below. When you open project log, you will be prompted to make a copy. After creating a copy, change the title of the document to "Your Name - TSA 25-26".
When your prototype is complete, you will create a short video (less than 1 minute) demonstrating how your prototype works. This video should be uploaded to your Google Drive.
Submit the project log & video through the TSA Club Application. DO NOT SHARE THEM WITH MR. AKINS USING GOOGLE.
This is the same application as the link on the previous page. You only need to complete this once. You do not need to complete the application twice.
