Hero's Journey Performance Task

Summary of Task:

Students will apply their knowledge and understanding of the Hero’s Journey stages (pg 17-20 in WB) and create their own hero, set in the ordinary world, that would follow the stages of the Hero’s Journey. Students will use graphic organizers to plan the plot of their story, as well as characterize the character who is following the Hero’s Journey.

Steps:

2. Fill out "Create a Hero" graphic organizer. (Thurs., Sept. 26)

3. Fill out the "Hero's Journey Performance Task" Graphic Organizer on Google Classroom. (Begin Thurs. and finish Fri., Sept. 27)

4. Share your stories with a group. (Fri, Sept. 27th)
