In September, the Counselor and Assistant Principal visited 8th grade classrooms. During this session, students learned about the role of the school counselor and the various ways our Student Services team supports them throughout the school year. The lesson also introduced important topics such as academic planning, goal setting, and preparing for high school. We look forward to partnering with you to support your student’s success this year, to share about our respective roles in school and how we partner on supporting students.
The application portal for Early College, Magnet, and Year-Round schools will open October 15, 2025.
All 8th grade students will access a Canvas course titled “Journey to 2030”, which will serve as their central hub for announcements, information, and resources throughout the school year. This course is designed to support students as they plan and register for high school.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to obtain observer access in Canvas to stay informed and actively support their student’s high school planning at home.
