The Age of Revolutions is a time period marked by demonstrations of civil unrest. Following the Age of Enlightenment, citizens in various societies fought for change in government, notably the transition from absolute monarchy to constitutionalist states and republics. From the late 1700s to the mid 1800s, revolutionary movements happened in many parts of Europe and America.
