There are many factors that may influence your child's academic success. As we work to support students at CHS, we want to ensure parents are aware of some common factors to that success.
DO YOU KNOW...
...you should get a phone message any time your child is marked absent for a class? If not, your current phone number may be updated in the school's contact information system. Also, check to make sure your the schools number isn't blocked on your phone.
... you can have your own access to PowerSchool to monitor your child's grades and attendance?
... students can get academic help during school each day (SMART Lunch)?
... only juniors and seniors are allowed to get an off-campus lunch pass? All other students are required to stay on campus and can receive disciplinary consequences for going off campus during the school day.
... conflicts often begin over social media? Are you aware of what social media apps your child has access to, to whom, and how they communicate?
