AP Research: Where Personal interests are elevated to Professional-Based Research

In AP Research, students learn essential and transferable skills they can use in high school, college, and career.
In this course, students choose their own topic to study while they learn and build research skills, including investigation, collaboration, writing, and presentation, culminating in a paper of 4,000 to 5,000 words and a presentation and oral defense of fifteen to twenty minutes.
The prerequisite for AP Research is AP Seminar. AP Language serves as the companion course for AP Research and along with Research is taken every other day all year long to maximize learning in both courses.
