SE Honors String Festival: Auditions due Sept. 3, Clinic is Sept. 25-27 at UNCG
NC ASTA All-State Festival: Auditions due Sept. 24, Clinic is Oct. 17th in Winston-Salem
Winter Concert: Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6:30PM
Enloe Visit: Winter TBD during the school day, Advanced orchestra and 8th graders
All-County Orchestra: Video auditions due Nov. 20th, clinic at Enloe on Jan. 19th--Snow Day: Feb. 15th
Enloe 8th Grade Placement Auditions: Feb. 22-24 at Enloe
JERO: Auditions at Durham School of the Arts on March 6th, clinic on May 1st (location TBD)
Pre-MPA Concert: March 2nd at 6:30pm, intermediate and advanced only
MPA: March 18th or 19th
Spring Concert: May 20th at 6:30pm

Welcome to Carnage Orchestra!
There are 3 levels of Strings classes available: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. All those interested in being in Intermediate or Advanced must complete an audition.
About Mrs. Tschiegg-Baker
Anna Tschiegg-Baker (Mrs. Tschiegg) is the orchestra director at Carnage Magnet Middle School in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied violin with Marjorie Bagley. During her graduate studies, Ms. Tschiegg-Baker served as a teaching assistant for the UNCG School of Music, assisting with undergraduate string education courses, supervising student teachers, and supporting the Lillian Rauch Beginning Strings and Peer Artist Leadership programs.
With several years of experience teaching middle school orchestra and performing with local symphonies, pit orchestras, and community ensembles, Ms. Tschiegg Baker is passionate about fostering creativity, collaboration, and lifelong musicianship in her students.
