All County Orchestra: March 20th--Rehearsal will be from 8am to 4pm and the concert will be at 7:00pm at Athens Drive HS
8th Grade Placement Auditions for Enloe: February 23-26, 2:30-6pm at Enloe High School
Pre-MPA Concert for Intermediate and Advanced: March 5th 6:30pm in the Carnage Auditorium
JERO Auditions: March 7 at Durham School of the Arts
MPA (advanced only): March 19th at Each Chapel Hill High School
Carnage Orchestra auditions due online by April 12th
JERO Clinic and Concert: May 2 at Gray’s Creek High School
Spring Concert: May 12, 6:30pm in the Carnage auditorium

Welcome to Carnage Strings!
There are 3 levels of Strings classes available: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. All those interested in being in Intermediate or Advanced must complete an audition.
About Mrs. Tschiegg-Baker
Anna Tschiegg-Baker (Mrs. Tschiegg) is the orchestra director at Carnage Magnet Middle School in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied violin with Marjorie Bagley. During her graduate studies, Ms. Tschiegg Baker served as a teaching assistant for the UNCG School of Music, assisting with undergraduate string education courses, supervising student teachers, and supporting the Lillian Rauch Beginning Strings and Peer Artist Leadership programs.
With several years of experience teaching middle school orchestra and performing with local symphonies, pit orchestras, and community ensembles, Ms. Tschiegg Baker is passionate about fostering creativity, collaboration, and lifelong musicianship in her students.
