LIGON MAGNET MIDDLE SCHOOL
Class overview
One of the main objectives as an exchange teacher is to enrich the students’ lives by bringing the world into the classroom and to make learning the language an amazing, long-lasting and fun experience. I strongly believe that the acquisition and construction of a language occur best through interaction in meaningful situations in which the language is used with a real purpose to communicate. Therefore, my plan this year is to create a globalized classroom of shared ownership in which students strongly believe we can make a positive impact in our community and change the world. Besides, while learning the language students will get to experience a different culture and thus, fostering cultural awareness by means of reflecting on diversity, recognising differences, respecting and celebrating them is of great importance.
