Hello! My name is Mrs. Calabrese and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! Although this is my first year at Olive Chapel Elementary, this will be my 8th year teaching.

Originally, I am from Holly Springs and I attended Western Carolina University where I earned my Elementary Education degree. From there, I took a teaching job in a remote bush village above the Arctic Circle in Alaska. I enjoyed the northern lights, snow mobile rides, and immersing myself in a new culture. After 2 years there, I moved with my husband to teach right outside of Glacier National Park in Montana! We spent 5 years there and then felt like it was time to come home to NC. 

I am beyond excited to be back where I grew up and continue my passion for teaching at OCE. Welcome to 3rd Grade!
